EMPOWERMENT HUBS ARE THE NEW, EMERGING ALTERNATIVE TO ACADEMIC SCHOOLS
We offer connections, resources, coaching, and consulting on
Empowerment, Empowerment Hubs, and Real-world Accomplishment with Impact
by young people — things that most current education does not provide or offer for our children.
Empowerment Hubs
are the emerging alternative to academic schools —
either outside school or within existing school structures.
Empowerment Hubs:

Are locations — either on Earth or in the Cloud —in which teams continuously accomplish REAL-WORLD-IMPROVING PROJECTS with MEASURABLE POSITIVE IMPACT (MPI).

Create and guide small, self-directed project teams — both locally and globally.

Exist in many models: e.g., as online sites, school alternatives, after-school programs, inside existing schools, and on weekends., and under different names.

Serve people of all levels and ages: pre-school, primary, secondary, tertiary, university— as well as mixed age groups.

Utilize real-world, non-academic coaches for the teams.

Have individual "brand names", which all fit into the overall "Empowerment" umbrella.
What Empowerment Hubs ALL have in common are
teams continuously accomplishing REAL-WORLD-IMPROVING PROJECTS with MEASURABLE POSITIVE IMPACT.

Empowerment
EMPOWERMENT IS SELF-DIRECTION PLUS ACCOMPLISHMENT WITH IMPACT
i.e., Getting things done you want to that positively affect your world.
Empowerment comes from a combination of:
EMPOWERING BELIEFS,
REAL-WORLD ACCOMPLISHMENTS,
TECHNOLOGY SYMBIOSIS, and
APPLIED UNIQUENESS
ACTUAL (APPLIED) EMPOWERMENT requires real-world accomplishment with Measurable Positive Impact
Accomplishment
ACCOMPLISHMENT is completing a project with a MEASURABLE POSITIVE IMPACT on your world.
For something to be an accomplishment, you should be able to say “See that? Before it was bad, and now—because of what I, my team, and my project did—it’s much better!”
Unless and until that happens, there is no accomplishment and no actual empowerment. There will only be academic study (e.g. “PBL”) and perhaps "potential" empowerment, which is no longer enough.
Impact
IMPACT Is positive change in the world.
Impact is NOT “the number of people reached” by an organization or other “proxy metrics.”
To see and count impact, you need to be able to point to MEASURABLE POSITIVE CHANGES you have made - ideally changes that are lasting.
